About
A Detailing Studio,
Not A Car Wash
Wax On Wax Off Detailing is a specialist detailing business in Rockingham, Western Australia, focused on paint correction and long-term vehicle protection.

How we work
Fewer Cars, Done Properly
This isn't a volume operation. Cars come in one at a time and stay until the work is actually finished, because paint correction and coating installation don't respond well to being rushed. That means fewer bookings each week — and a finish that holds up when you park next to something new.
Being owner-operated means the person who quotes your car is the person who inspects the paint, does the correction and installs the coating. Nothing gets handed down the line, and nothing gets glossed over to hit a schedule.
It also means the advice you get is straight. If a single-stage enhancement will get your car 90% of the way there and multi-stage correction isn't worth the money for how you use it, that's what you'll be told. If the paint needs more than you were expecting, you'll hear that too — before any work starts, not after.
The focus on Magnum graphene and borophene coatings is deliberate. Accreditation means installing to the manufacturer's standard rather than improvising, and staying with one system means knowing exactly how it behaves on different paints, in different conditions, over time.
The workshop
Where The Work Happens
Coating installation is done indoors, under controlled lighting, away from dust, wind and direct sun.
Vehicles are booked in by appointment at the Rockingham workshop. Correction and coating work usually runs across two to three days, and a courtesy vehicle can be arranged so you're not left without transport while it's with us.
The workshop is where the serious work belongs — correction and coating both depend on controlled lighting, temperature and a dust-free space. If dropping the vehicle off genuinely isn't practical, ask about mobile service when you enquire; some work can be done at your address depending on your location and the access available.
Ceramic window tinting is available through a trusted tinting partner, so it can be coordinated with your booking instead of being a separate job on a separate day.

Why choose us
Built Around The Preparation
Coatings are only as good as what happens underneath them. Here's what that means in practice.
- 01
Magnum-accredited installation
Accreditation means the coatings are installed the way the manufacturer intends — correct preparation, correct conditions, correct curing.
- 02
Specialist preparation and correction
The finish is decided before any coating goes on. Decontamination and correction are treated as the main job, not a quick pre-step.
- 03
Graphene and borophene technology
Newer coating chemistry than conventional SiO₂ ceramics, chosen for gloss, slickness and how easily the car cleans up afterwards.
- 04
Workshop-controlled application
Coatings are applied indoors under controlled lighting and conditions — not in a driveway with dust, wind and direct sun.
- 05
High-quality products throughout
Professional chemicals, pads and applicators from decontamination through to the final coating layer.
- 06
Careful vehicle-specific assessment
Paint is inspected and the plan is set for your car — its age, colour, panel condition and how you actually use it.
- 07
Courtesy vehicle available
Quality work takes time. A courtesy vehicle can be arranged so being without your car is not the reason to rush it.
- 08
Long-term aftercare advice
You leave knowing how to wash it, what to avoid and when to book a maintenance check so the coating keeps performing.
- 09
Local Rockingham business
Owner-operated and based in Rockingham, working with customers across the southern suburbs and greater Perth.
- 10
Consistent attention to detail
Trim, shuts, badges and edges get the same attention as the bonnet. Detail work is the whole point.
